Sin brings death....Romans 6:23 says The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Jesus died for you on the cross....Romans 5:8 says God demonstrated His love toward you, while you were yet a sinner, Christ died for you

To receive Christ, all you have to do is simply believe in the work He already did for you on the cross. That He died, was buried, and rose up from the grave to defeat death and sin....Acts 16:31 says, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Romans 10:13 says, Call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved. It is literally that simple...humans complicate the saving grace of God thinking it takes a lifetime of doing good things and that is so untrue. It is simply choosing to believe in His work on the cross for you.

A sample prayer is below...Just saying these words will not save you and will mean nothing unless you are truly choosing to believe and trusting Jesus to save you

"Dear Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.Thank you for saving me and becoming my Savior. I desire to give my life to you. In Jesus Name, Amen"
